Smart School SaaS Add-on helps school owners, education businesses, and software providers offer Smart School as a subscription service. It adds a polished public SaaS website, plan-based school signup, subscription billing, tenant workspaces, and platform controls without requiring a separate database for every school.

Each subscribed school receives its own workspace and school-level administration. The platform owner keeps control of subscriptions, plans, website content, domains, and SaaS settings from the main Smart School installation.

HOW IT WORKS

1. The platform owner installs and activates the SaaS Add-on.
2. The platform owner creates subscription plans and publishes the SaaS website.
3. A school selects a plan, submits its details, and completes payment.
4. The system creates a separate school workspace with its own administrator.
5. The school manages its daily Smart School operations from its own URL.
6. The platform owner manages subscriptions, requests, plans, domains, and SaaS website content centrally.

CUSTOM DOMAIN WORKFLOW

Tenants can request a domain they already own. After the platform owner approves the request, the tenant follows the published DNS guide, adds the required DNS records at its domain provider, and completes SSL setup on the hosting server. The add-on does not require a public DNS lookup before the tenant submits the request.
